These Terms govern your use of Swappix via our website and Android/iOS apps. By continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. General

Swappix is a peer-to-peer platform that helps users find counterparties for currency exchange. Swappix is not a bank, payment institution, broker, or escrow agent and does not execute transactions on your behalf.

1.1. Information marketplace — no custody or money transmission

Swappix provides tools to post requests, search, communicate, and build reputation between users. The service is not a party to your deals, does not accept, hold, or transmit money, does not exchange currency, and does not settle on your behalf. All terms, meetings, and transfers of value happen directly between users outside Swappix’s control unless applicable law expressly requires otherwise.

You are solely responsible for assessing whether an exchange is lawful in your jurisdiction, including currency controls, tax, and anti–money laundering rules. Swappix does not provide legal, tax, or investment advice; site and app text is informational only.

You must not use the service for unlawful activity, sanctions evasion, fraud, money laundering, or other abuse. We may restrict access, remove content, and cooperate with authorities as required by law.

2. Responsibility

You remain solely responsible for deal terms, counterparty due diligence, legal compliance, and performing any exchange. Swappix does not guarantee that a deal will complete, any exchange rate, or counterparty behaviour.

3. Safety

Use reasonable precautions: meet in public places, verify banknotes, avoid prepayments, and consider splitting large exchanges. Use in-app safety tools where available (including emergency and trusted-contact features in supported builds).

4. Account rules

One natural person should use one account. Information must be accurate and lawful. Your nickname is fixed after setup and is not freely changeable. Violations, fraud, or abuse may result in restrictions or termination of your account and removal of content.

Requests may be moderated. You may have up to three active requests at a time; each request has a limited lifetime (see the product UI and server rules).

5. Privacy

We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Disclosure to third parties occurs only on lawful grounds, with your consent where required, or for security and legal compliance.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms unless applicable law requires otherwise.
